INVITATION TO BID
The MPC is accepting sealed Bids for the Build Out of Suite 900, International Plaza building per the scope of services in the Invitiation to Bid document.
MANDATORY PRE-BID MEETING
A Mandatory Pre-Bid meeting will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 2, 2010. We will meet in the main lobby of the International Building located at 2 International Plaza Drive, Nashville, TN 37217. Attendance is mandatory at this meeting. A one-time tour of the project site will be conducted during the meeting.
ITB DEADLINE AND SUBMISSION
Bids will be accepted until 10:00 a.m. local time on FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 10, 2010 at the Receptionist’s Desk, located on the 4th Floor of the main terminal building of the Nashville International Airport, at which time a public opening will be held.
SMALL MINORITY WOMAN-OWNED BUSINESS ENTERPRISE (SMWBE) PARTICIPATION
It is the MNAA’s objective to promote, encourage, and stimulate participation of local, small, minority and women-owned business enterprises (SMWBE) within its organization and the economic community served by it by providing maximum opportunities to participate in contracts, programs and all related business activities of the MNAA. MNAA will apply the local small minority woman-owned business participation levels where expenditures and purchases are made with non-federal funding, and to all contracts, leases, management agreements, consultants, prime contractors, subcontractors, respondents, bidders, or proposers involved in the performance of a commercially useful task for MNAA. The SMWBE level established for this Contract is as follows: participation level Fourteen point Six Eight Percent (14.68%) MBE & WBE combined.
RIGHT TO REJECT BIDS
The MNAA reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, or accept any Bid which it deems advantageous, and to negotiate with the selected Bidder on changes, additions, or deletions to the original specifications. The MNAA reserves the right to waive all informalities in the submission, to reject any and all submissions, and to re-advertise for Bids which provide the best quality of service to the MNAA at a reasonable cost. This solicitation can be cancelled in whole or in part at any time when it is in the best interest of the MNAA.
