China Lights-Illuminating the Fairgrounds, that is “Rising out of the Far East” and making its Tennessee premier at The Fairgrounds Nashville for 4 weeks beginning May 14, 2017.

Previous host cities include Spokane, New Orleans, Norfolk, Philadelphia and most recently, Milwaukee. Each city event was very successful with 100,000+ people attending the month-long exhibit. Market advertising, promotional and media value to exceed $250k.

China Lights is an authentic tribute to the rich Art, Light and Culture of China that has been a part of Lantern Festivals in China dating back to the Hon Dynasty over 4,000 years ago.

The Illumination Parade begins at 6:15pm each night and will conclude at the main stage in time for the first performance of the night.  From a three-foot baby panda in Panda World to a three-story Chinese palace pagoda, 1,000 sculptural components will be created on-site by more than 30 artists from China. Welded metal frames covered in fabric will emerge as flowers, peacocks, cranes, butterflies, archways—all LED-lit-from-within lanterns.  The nearly 200-foot-long dragon is always a crowd-pleaser.
