Service Animals
BNA welcomes service animals and has taken special consideration to keep them comfortable so they can focus on their responsibilities. Use the map above or follow the directions below to find the service animal relief areas.
Please note: If your animal is not on duty, we ask that all pets be kept in carriers.
● Two NEW outdoor service animal relief areas are located on the Departures level: one on the north side, and one on the south side.
● Proceed across the crosswalk and make a 90-degree turn to the right (north) or left (south).
● The service animal relief areas are fenced areas featuring real and artificial grass, a bench and a mock fire hydrant.
● Cleanup bags are available for travelers' use. Thank you for cleaning up after your service animal.
Pre-security: Two NEW outdoor service animal relief areas are located on the Departures level: one on the north side, and one on the south side. The relief areas are fenced areas featuring real and artificial grass, a bench and a mock fire hydrant.
Secure side of the airport:
- North Terminal: Concourse B (outdoor). See your gate agent to be escorted to the relief area. The passenger will not have to go through the security screening process again.
- South Terminal:
- Concourse C (outdoor). See your gate agent to be escorted to the relief area. The passenger will not have to go through the security screening process again.
- Concourse D, across from Gate D-2 (indoor). No escort is needed once you've completed security screening.
