At BNA®, we’re here to help you quickly locate and recover your belongings with step-by-step guidance on how to contact the Lost and Found, TSA, or your airline, depending on where the item was lost.
Lost Items in Airport Public Areas
Items left in restrooms, gate seating areas, curbside, or other public spaces are sent to BNA's Lost and Found.

To Retrieve Your Item:
Visit the Information Center
- Location: Level 1 (Ground Transportation Level), pre-security
- Hours: Daily, 6:30 a.m. – 10:30 p.m.

Lost Items at TSA Security Checkpoint
Contact TSA at: BNA-Lost&Found@tsa.dhs.gov
When Emailing TSA, Include:
- Full Name
- Contact Number
- Date & Time of Travel
- Airline Traveled With
- Item Description (brand, color, size, type, identifiable features)

Response Time: TSA requires 48 hours to research your inquiry.
