Communication Considerations

Translation Services

The Information Center offers interpretation services to bridge communication gaps and ensure everyone has equal access to information and services. Through our partnership with LanguageLine, we can connect you with a qualified interpreter in over 240 languages.

The Information Center is open daily from 6:30 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.

Paging for the Hearing Impaired

We offer visual paging on our flight information display system for passengers who are deaf, hard of hearing, or prefer visual notifications. To request visual paging, you can visit the Information Center or contact them by phone at 615-275-2098.

Accessible Parking Program

BNA provides complimentary parking to individuals enrolled in BNA’s Accessible Parking Program.

Wheelchair Assistance

Nashville International Airport® (BNA®) prioritizes accessible travel for all. To ensure a smooth and efficient experience, wheelchair assistance is readily available upon arrival. Passengers can request a wheelchair at their airline's ticket counter or at curbside check-in.

Escorting a Person with Special Needs

Passengers who need help going through security checkpoints can get gate passes for their companions through their airline. We recommend requesting these passes when booking your flight, particularly if traveling with minors.

Service Animals

Service animals and pets are permitted in the terminal. For specific info about traveling with a service animal and pets, contact your airline.

TSA Cares

TSA provides assistance to travelers with disabilities, medical conditions and other special circumstances requiring special assistance during the security screening process.

To request assistance during security screening for flights departing within 72 hours, please call TSA Cares at (855) 787-2227. TSA Cares assistance is only available for assistance through the screening checkpoint. Passengers requiring in-flight assistance or wheelchair service from curbside to aircraft at BNA are advised to contact their airline prior to arriving at BNA.
