MNAA’s Stan Van Ostran Named 2016 Finance Professional of the Year by Industry Association

NASHVILLE – The Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority (MNAA) Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Stan Van Ostran was recently honored as the 2016 Medium Hub Finance Professional of the Year by the Airports Council International-North America (ACI-NA), a leading industry trade association representing local, regional and state governing bodies that own and operate commercial airports in the United States and Canada.

“Stan and his team have played a major role in financing the growth of Nashville International and John C. Tune airports,” said Rob Wigington, MNAA president and CEO. “We’re all delighted to see him receive this award and the national recognition that rightly comes with it. Congratulations, Stan.”

Since joining MNAA in 2008, Van Ostran has helped strengthen MNAA’s financial viability and credit ratings, and reduce pension and other costs.  Last year, he helped MNAA achieve significant milestones, including a new airline use-and-lease agreement and a $200 million bond issue with the lowest interest rate of any “A” rated airport.

Van Ostran was presented the award during a recent gala dinner at the 2016 ACI-NA Business of Airports Conference in Orlando, Fla., which was attended by nearly 500 commercial management, human resource and finance executives from the North American airport industry.
