BNA® is on the road to supporting 40 million annual passengers – but first, we have to build it! Constructing the new parking garage and rental car facility and expanding our one-mile ring road to a two-mile, six-lane loop will bring changes that will require flexibility, patience and understanding, but we promise the end result – more parking and expanded and improved roadways – is not only entirely necessary, but also overwhelmingly worth it. Here’s what to know as we embark on this journey:
On July 1, Lot A will close to facilitate work on the new facility footprint. In addition to the terminal garages, valet, Lot B (which is expanding!) and Lot C will remain open to provide drivers with options for parking. More information about additional parking options is available on our website at flynashville.com/park-at-bna.
There will be slight changes to traffic flow and garage entries/exits while detour roads are being built, which we will share more information about on an ongoing basis. The first major roadway detour will be implemented in April 2027, with additional phases to follow.
Bigger and so much better! The new parking garage and rental car facility will be encompassed by the expanded and improved roadways. Designed to accommodate 4,700 rental vehicles, and with 3,000 parking spaces for passengers, the new six-story facility presents a significant operational improvement that will help advance future growth.
We will continue to provide ongoing updates throughout this process. Thank you for your support and understanding as we build a world-class airport for all our passengers that can continue to support our unprecedented growth now and into the future.
“Despega un equipo. Vuela un país” — “A team takes off. A country flies.”
We were thrilled to welcome the Spain National Football Team to BNA® as they embark on their World Cup journey! They arrived in style in their special livery - an Iberia A350-900.
We wish them the best of luck as they represent their nation on the world stage!
Emergencies can occur at any moment, but our Department of Public Safety (DPS) is always prepared to assist passengers and staff when it matters most. In May, DPS officers responded to 231 medical calls throughout the terminal including aboard aircraft, terminal incidents and mental health support. Thanks to their quick action, those in need received prompt and professional care.
We would like to express our gratitude to our DPS officers, staff, and the Airport Communications Center for their dedication and hard work in ensuring everyone`s safety!
Our team is the glaze that holds us together!
For National Donut Day, we surprised employees with a sweet treat for all they do to make BNA® and John C. Tune Airport® (JWN®) world-class airports.
