As we navigate the partial government shutdown, here’s an update on its impact at Nashville International Airport (BNA):
•The TSA checkpoints and TSA Pre-Check services are fully operational, with average maximum wait times remaining under 10 minutes.
•Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is conducting Global Entry interviews only from Monday to Friday, between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. No interviews will take place on weekends.
•U.S. citizens with Global Entry can use the Enhanced Passenger Processing (EPP) system, while all non-U.S. residents with Global Entry must go through standard screening for non-residents.
•We are in regular communication with the affected agencies and airlines to monitor any impacts on passengers.

Over the past two months, you may have noticed a new mural located near D5, just before the moving walkway. Local artist @tonysobota`s mural, "Nashville in a Day," is the latest addition to Arts at the Airport. The mural is a landscape that reads left to right and highlights what a typical day in Nashville looks like, from landing at the airport to going downtown and flying out the next morning.
Today, we officially held a ribbon-cutting ceremony with a small celebration to mark the completion of another Arts at the Airport project.

A birthday surprise decades in the making!
Micah, an aviation enthusiast, has been advocating for Southwest Airlines to come to Knoxville and for a nonstop flight between Nashville and Knoxville since he was a teenager. Today, his wish finally came true. His wife, Julia, helped coordinate an unforgettable birthday surprise in the terminal, and it was truly a celebration to remember.
