Nashville International Airport Kicks Off Black History Month Music Series

Series to Celebrate Iconic Sounds of the Civil Rights Movement

NASHVILLE ─ In celebration of Black History Month, the Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority’s (MNAA) Arts at the Airport will kick off its 3rd annual Black History Month Music Series at Nashville International Airport (BNA) on Wednesday, Feb. 7. MNAA’s Black History Month Music Series will spotlight local bands and groups performing, commemorating and celebrating the sounds of the American Civil Rights Movement.

MNAA’s Black History Month Music Series schedule is as follows:

  • Wednesday, Feb. 7 – Creative Soul Music Academy; noon – 2 p.m.
  • Tuesday, Feb. 13 – Inversion Vocal Ensemble; noon – 2 p.m.
  • Wednesday, Feb. 21 – Nate Bean & 4Given; 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.
  • Wednesday, Feb. 28 – Tennessee State University Meistersingers; noon – 2 p.m.

All performances are free and open to the public and will take place at Nashville International Airport on the Arts at the Airport Stage located in the South Meeter-Greeter Area (Non-secure side/Ticketing Lobby level near Starbucks).
