Southwest Airlines to Begin Nonstop Service to Charlotte

Airline also adds additional flight to Denver, Los Angeles and Fort Lauderdale

NASHVILLE ─ Nashville International Airport (BNA) today announces Southwest Airlines will begin daily nonstop service to Charlotte and will add an additional flight to Denver (5x daily), Los Angeles (3x daily) and Fort Lauderdale (3x daily). Tickets are now available for purchase to all four destinations, and service begins Aug. 7.

“As we celebrate Southwest Airlines’ 30th anniversary in Nashville, it is very fitting that they are adding a new destination and additional service,” said Rob Wigington, president and CEO of the Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority. “We appreciate Southwest Airlines unwavering confidence in the Nashville community, and we will continue to work to bring even more nonstop service that our passengers need and want.”

BNA is currently served by 10 airlines and offers 390 daily flights. Nashville International Airport provides nonstop air service to more than 50 destinations.
