NASHVILLE – Registration is underway for Nashville International Airport’s (BNA) “BNA 5K on the Runway,” an event that invites runners and walkers to do just that—complete a 5K race on an airport runway.

Proceeds from the popular event, to be held on April 18, will benefit Monroe Harding foster care services and Safe Haven Family Shelter. Last year’s sell-out event raised $82,000 for K9s for Warriors, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing service canines at no cost to veterans suffering trauma as a result of military service post 9/11.

“What a great way to have fun while generating funds for important community organizations,” said Doug Kreulen, president and CEO of BNA. “It’s also a chance for BNA to provide participants a hands-on airport experience … and you won’t find a flatter course in town! We invite you to bring your family, your friends and even your dog.”

BNA 5K on the Runway is limited to 2,000 participants. For more information and to register, visit https://runsignup.com/Race/TN/Nashville/BNA5K.
