Construction Begins on Additional Cell Phone Waiting Lot

As part of a renovation project designed to make passenger pick-up more efficient and convenient, Nashville International Airport (BNA) will begin construction on Monday, April 18, on an additional Cell Phone Waiting Lot. This free parking lot will join the existing 49-space Cell Phone Waiting Lot as a place for motorists to wait for guests before their arrival. The project is scheduled to be complete by June 17, 2016.

The new 80-space lot will be located in the north east corner of the existing Valet Lot and will be easily assessable for motorist exiting from I-40 East. During construction, one lane of traffic will remain open at all times. Motorists exiting from I-40 East should be aware of construction personnel and vehicles in the area. The speed limit will be reduced from 40 mph to 25 mph.
