Global Entry Enrollment Center Opening Near Nashville International Airport

First center to open in Tennessee

NASHVILLE ─ Nashville International Airport (BNA) announces the opening of a U.S. Customs and Border Protection Global Entry Enrollment Center in Nashville. The center is set to open Feb. 4, with online registration available now. Just like the TSA Pre✓™ Enrollment Center at BNA that opened December 2013, the Global Entry Enrollment Center will be the first center to open in Tennessee. The Global Entry Enrollment Center will be located near BNA, inside the Gassaway Building at 612 Hangar Lane, Room 114.

“Opening a Global Entry Enrollment Center in Nashville allows for more passengers to register for the program without having to travel to another city for their interview and screening process,” Rob Wigington, president and CEO of the Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority, said. “We are continuously listening to the needs of our passengers, so that we can better provide and enhance the Nashville Airports Experience.”

Global Entry is a U.S. Customs and Border Protection program that allows expedited clearance for pre-approved, low-risk travelers upon arrival in the United States. To enroll in the program, applicants must first fill out an application online at https://goes-app.cbp.dhs.gov/main/goes.

Once the online application has been approved, the applicant will be contacted by U.S. Customs and Border Protection to schedule an interview at a Global Entry Enrollment Center where a U.S. Customs and Border Protection officer will conduct an interview, take a headshot photo and collect biometric information, e.g., scan fingerprints.

Global Entry is open to U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, Dutch citizens, South Korean citizens, German citizens, Panamanian citizens and Mexican nationals. Canadian citizens and residents may enjoy Global Entry benefits through membership in the NEXUS program.
