Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority Statement

On May 30 at 7:31 a.m., an unaccompanied bag was deemed suspicious at Nashville International Airport (BNA) by a BNA Police explosive detection canine. The unaccompanied bag was found near the meeter-greeter lounge at the Concourse C exit. As a safety precaution during the investigation, BNA Police evacuated the non-secure side of the terminal, as well as Concourses A and B, and persons in Concourse C were moved to a safe distance. At 8:52 a.m., BNA Police determined the bag was not a threat. BNA has resumed normal operations. As multiple flights are now delayed, please check with your airline for latest flight information.
