Talk about coming full circle! When the Concourse D extension fully opens on July 8, passengers will be able to be look up and see “A Thread Without End”—620 stainless steel mirror polished spheres suspended 11 feet in the air. This woven artwork by Benjamin Ball of Ball-Nogues Studio “invites viewers to see themselves among others, to sense their presence within a larger field of connection, and to feel briefly tethered to a collective moment before moving on.” Ball-Nogues Studio Senior Project Manager James Jones gave us a sneak peek into every shimmering detail of the installation process.
The Concourse D extension will be the first project completed under New Horizon, the current growth and renovation plan at BNA®.
