Single-Lane Closure on Road Connecting Terminal Drive to I-40 for Roadway Improvements

As part of our continuous roadway enhancement efforts at Nashville International Airport® (BNA®), the right lane of the outbound road connecting Terminal Drive and I-40 will close on Jan. 20 at 7 a.m. for construction and the addition of a new lane. This work will support the addition of a new lane, part of ongoing terminal roadway improvements under New Horizon, BNA’s current growth and expansion program.​​

This lane closure will remain in effect through the end of April, with construction continuously occurring, including weekends. To support peak Spring Break travel, construction will pause and the right lane will temporarily reopen from March 5–19 before closing again to allow crews to complete the project.​​

During this work, motorists will continue to have access to both I-40 eastbound and westbound. Drivers are encouraged to watch for traffic management and signage throughout the work zone.​​ Donelson Pike is also available as an alternative route to access I-40.
