Central Ramp Expansion Surpasses 20,000 Truckloads of Fill

The Central Ramp Expansion has surpassed 20,000 truckloads of fill, which equates to more than 271,000 cubic yards! That means crews have filled the gulf adjacent to the central ramp with about a quarter of the approximately 1.1 million cubic yards of fill needed for the project. Once complete, the Central Ramp Expansion will provide additional capacity for aircraft movement, overnight parking and de-icing at BNA®. The Central Ramp Expansion is part of New Horizon, the $3 billion growth and expansion plan at BNA.
