Lot A to Close July 1 for New Bigger, Better Parking Garage and Rental Car Facility
Nashville is evolving — and so is the way you park and rent a car at BNA® as we prepare to serve 40 million annual passengers.
As part of this progress, work is increasing on our new, larger and more convenient rental car facility and parking garage, a key component of New Horizon, our $3 billion expansion program. Because the existing Lot A sits within the footprint of this new facility, the surface lot will close on July 1 to allow construction to move forward.
The new facility is located next to the current terminal garages, a site selected to keep parking convenient and walkable — no shuttle or bus required. In the meantime, the terminal garages, valet, Economy Lot B and Economy Lot C will all remain open and available for drivers.
Designed to accommodate 4,700 rental vehicles and with 3,000 parking spaces for passengers, the new six-story facility presents a significant operational improvement that will help advance future growth – starting with 40 million annual passengers and beyond to Terminal II. This program is driven by our commitment to ensure passengers have options when it comes to how they get to and from the airport.
As construction progresses, interim detour stages and interim phases will be implemented. We will continue to share updates ahead of implementation.
The new parking garage and rental car facility will be complete alongside the new ring road at BNA, which will expand the current one-mile, two-lane road to a two-mile, six-lane loop.
