Traffic Shift for Blasting to Improve and Expand Terminal Roadways Starting Dec. 9 on Tuesdays and Wednesdays

Blasting will occur Tuesdays and Wednesdays, as well as Saturdays as needed, for two weeks starting Dec. 9 as part of expanding and improving terminal roadways under New Horizon, the current growth and expansion plan at Nashville International Airport®, also known as BNA®. These efforts will require a temporary traffic shift on the road connecting Terminal Drive to I-40 between 8:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.

To facilitate blasting for continued roadway improvements, outbound traffic will shift on the road that connects Terminal Drive to I-40 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Tuesdays and Wednesdays, as well as Saturdays as needed, for the next two weeks, starting Dec. 9. Inbound traffic from Exit 216A will also shift, and those utilizing Exit 216A will need to stay right and follow Terminal Drive to access parking. To avoid traffic impacts during the traffic shift, drivers are encouraged to use Exit 216B and Donelson Pike for parking and rental car return. Please watch for traffic management and signage.
