Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority Bolsters Leadership Team: Introducing New Appointments and Promotions
Nashville, Tenn. (April 11, 2024) – The Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority (MNAA) is delighted to communicate the noteworthy accomplishments of several individuals, showcasing their well-deserved promotions, as well as additions to the leadership team at Nashville International Airport® (BNA®) and John C. Tune Airport ® (JWN®).

The individuals listed below have taken on the following key leadership roles:
Executive Leadership
- Robert Ramsey – Executive Vice President & Chief Development Officer
Robert Ramsey, who joined MNAA in 2003, is making the transition from the role of Chief Operating Officer (COO) to Chief Development Officer (CDO). Ramsey has played a vital role in both BNA® Vision and New Horizon, MNAA’s comprehensive expansion programs for BNA. In his newly appointed role as CDO, he will lead Airport Planning, Airport Capital Development, New Horizon Program and Terminal II. Ramsey, a Professional Engineer (PE), an Accredited Airport Executive (A.A.E), and an International Airport Professional (IAP), served eight years in the United States Air Force as an officer in multiple squadron leadership roles. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Military Institute and a master’s degree in Engineering Management from the University of Missouri at Rolla. - Adam Floyd – Senior Vice President & Chief Operating Officer
Since joining MNAA in 2019, Adam Floyd has played a vital role in the MNAA’s success. Demonstrating his talent and leadership, he has progressed through several positions, with his latest achievement being his promotion from Vice President of Operations to Senior Vice President Chief Operating Officer (COO). In his new role, he will be at the helm of the Operations, Facilities Maintenance, Environmental and Safety, Public Safety, Information Technology, and Customer Service departments at both BNA and JWN. Before joining MNAA, Floyd served 21 years in the United States Coast Guard leading law enforcement, intelligence, and search and rescue operations. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Intelligence Studies from American Military University, a master’s degree in Executive Leadership from Liberty University and is a Certified Member (C.M.) of the American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE). - Eric Johnson – Senior Vice President & Chief Revenue Officer
Recently appointed as the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) at MNAA, Eric Johnson brings more than 30 years of aviation experience, transitioning from the Metropolitan Airports Commission (MAC) at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport (MSP). Commencing his new role at BNA on March 4, Johnson will oversee Concessions, Advertising, Real Estate and Property Management. Additionally, he will manage lease compliance for BNA’s new on-site Hilton hotel. Johnson is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Stout, where he obtained a degree in Business Administration. He furthered his education in Real Estate Development at the University of St. Thomas and Economic Development at the University of Minnesota-Duluth. Additionally, he has earned numerous certifications from the Airports Council International (ACI), is a Certified Member (C.M.) of the American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE) and pursued further education in Executive Presence at the University of Minnesota.
Vice Presidents
- Adam Bouchard – Vice President, Operations
Adam Bouchard has joined MNAA as Vice President of Operations, overseeing Airside, Landside, and Terminal Operations, along with Guest Services, Safety, and Parking. Previously, Bouchard served as Vice President of Operations at Tampa International Airport and held various leadership roles at the Hillsborough County Aviation Authority for nearly nine years. Prior to his tenure in Tampa, he held leadership positions at American Airlines, starting as a ramp agent for American Eagle Airlines at BNA in 2007. Bouchard holds a bachelor’s degree in Aviation Business Administration from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and a master’s degree from Penn State University. He is a Fellow of the Royal Aeronautical Society of the United Kingdom and a Certified Member (C.M.) of the American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE). - Daniel B. Brown – Vice President, Facility Management
Previously Assistant Vice President, Daniel B. Brown has been promoted to Vice President of Facility Management. He has been instrumental in ensuring safe and quality maintenance operations at MNAA since November 2021. Brown supervises over 95 MNAA employees and 300 contractors, overseeing maintenance, environmental, and safety functions at both BNA and JWN airports. He manages all aspects of airfield and building maintenance for four BNA runways, associated taxiways, baggage handling, passenger boarding bridges, landscaping, elevators, escalators, and janitorial services. Brown, a Certified Member (C.M.) of the American Association of Airport Executives, boasts numerous accreditations, including an Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic (A&P) License from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), and is a Six Sigma Black Belt. He served in the United States Air Force from 1998 to 2006, fulfilling various roles such as Aircraft Battle Damage Repair (ABDR) Technician, Instructor, and A-10 Crew Chief. Brown holds a bachelor’s degree in Aeronautics with an Aviation Safety focus and a master’s degree in Aeronautics with an Aviation Operations Management focus, both from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
Assistant Vice President
- Ted Morrissey – Assistant Vice President, Associate General Counsel
Previously Assistant General Counsel, Ted Morrissey has been promoted to the role of Associate General Counsel. Since joining MNAA in August 2014 as Legal Counsel, he has consistently demonstrated his legal expertise and commitment to MNAA. In his new role, Morrissey will continue to provide essential in-house legal advice. Morrissey brings a strong educational foundation to his role, holding a bachelor’s degree from The University of the South and a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from the University of Tennessee College of Law. His dedication to professional development is further solidified by his status as a Certified Member (C.M.) of the American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE).
Directors
- Jennifer Coulter – Director, Safety Management Systems
Jennifer Coulter joins MNAA as the Director of Safety Management Systems (SMS), tasked with establishing, overseeing, and upholding an SMS program in alignment with federal regulations, encompassing Safety Policy, Safety Assurance, Risk Management, and Safety Promotion. Previously, she held roles as Senior Safety Officer at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, State Safety Oversight Officer for all Passenger Rail in Tennessee, and Global Environmental Program Manager for Amazon, accumulating over 10 years of safety experience. Coulter holds certifications as a Certified Safety Specialist with the World Safety Organization (CSS-WSO) and Transportation Safety and Security Professional (TSSP) from the Federal Transit Administration (FTA). She earned her bachelor’s degree in Environmental Biology from Tennessee Technological University. - Jeffrey Greco – Director, Facilities Maintenance
Jeffrey Greco joined MNAA in February 2024 as the Director of Facilities Maintenance, leading a 75-person crew responsible for the upkeep and preventive maintenance of all airport grounds, the terminal and outlying buildings. A decorated veteran with over 21 years of service, he previously served as a Naval Flight Officer in the EA-18G Growler aircraft. His most recent assignment was Commanding Officer (Senior Executive) of the Nashville Navy Reserve Center, where he led a team of 320 Navy Reserve personnel. Greco holds a Master of Arts in Diplomacy from Norwich University and a Bachelor of Science in Logistics and Intermodal Transportation from the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy.
Additionally, MNAA is proud to recognize the following individuals with well-deserved promotions to Director positions:
- Ben Dearman, who joined MNAA in April 2021 as the Accounting Manager of Operations & Maintenance, has been promoted to the role of Director of Budget and Treasury.
- Aaron Flake, who joined MNAA in March 2023 as Assistant Director of Operations – Business and Strategy, has been promoted to Director of Parking and Ground Transportation – Business Strategy from his previous position as Assistant Director.
- Michael Glazer, who joined the MNAA team in May 2022 as Assistant Director of Landside and Terminal Operations, has been promoted to the role of Director of Terminal Operations.
- Jennifer Swallows, who has held an impressive tenure since 1989, has been promoted from Assistant Director to Director of Parking and Ground Transportation.
- Adam Wolf, who joined MNAA as the Assistant Director of Airside Operations in February 2023, has been promoted to the role of Director of Airside Operations.
