Nashville International Airport Hosts Community Celebration for Accessibility Innovation with GoodMaps Launch

BNA leads the way in airport innovation with wayfinding technology to enhance accessibility for all

WHAT: Nashville International Airport® (BNA®) is preparing to debut GoodMaps, an advanced AI-driven indoor navigation system designed to transform the travel experience for individuals with disabilities. With this launch, BNA becomes the first airport in Tennessee to adopt this groundbreaking technology—setting a new benchmark for inclusive travel and showcasing the real-world impact of cutting-edge accessibility solutions.

While designed with accessibility at its core, GoodMaps’ design enhances wayfinding for all passengers—empowering every traveler to navigate the airport with greater ease and confidence.

The launch event will feature:

  • Live demonstrations with travelers representing diverse accessibility needs
  • Interactive exhibits showcasing GoodMaps’ navigation tools
  • Real-time mapping using the GoodMaps Studio platform
  • Remarks from airport leadership, GoodMaps representatives and disability advocates
  • A community celebration spotlighting Nashville’s inclusive hospitality culture

Media Parking & Access Instructions: 

  • Please do not park curbside in Departures
  • Instead, park in Terminal Garage 1; your parking will be validated.
  • After parking, take the elevator to Level P5 (if you're on a different level) to the Pedestrian Plaza
  • Proceed through the Pedestrian Plaza, across the bridge and into the Grand Lobby
