Nashville International Airport Unveils Dazzling New Look for Annual Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony
BNA Marketplace glows with thousands of lights, festive decor and performances to kick off the holidays
WHAT: Nashville International Airport® (BNA®) is proud to kick off the holiday season with its third annual Tree Lighting Ceremony on Friday, Nov. 21 — and this year, the celebration shines with a bold new look.
Standing at an impressive 38 feet tall, the holiday tree has been completely reimagined with brand-new decorations that reflect BNA’s signature style. Dressed in a striking palette of blue, gold and silver, the tree will sparkle with 33,650 lights and 1,007 newly added ornaments, transforming the BNA® Marketplace into a brilliant seasonal showcase.
Topping it all is a dazzling 4-foot star weighing 150 pounds, bringing the total height to 42 feet. This festive focal point not only celebrates the joy of the season but also reflects the energy and excellence of BNA’s world-class travel experience.
Event Highlights Include:
- Remarks from Doug Kreulen, president and CEO of the Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority (MNAA)
- A special visit from Santa Claus
- Live musical performances by a local choir
- Balloon artists entertaining guests of all ages
- Complimentary sweet treats for attendees
