British Airways Increases Service Between Nashville and London
British Airways will increase its Nashville services next summer, offering a daily service between Tennessee and London Heathrow. Tickets are available to purchase on ba.com.
The daily service begins March 31, 2019, and will be operated by the Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner, the state of the art aircraft designed to enhance customer wellbeing. The aircraft accommodates 214 customers across three cabins, with 154 seats in World Traveller (economy), 25 seats in World Traveller Plus (premium economy) and 35 seats in Club World (business). All customers will be able to enjoy free meals, beverages, individual widescreen TV screens with complimentary on-demand entertainment, and a free checked bag.
Customers can also connect quickly and easily onto one of the 130 plus destinations to which British Airways flies.
Simon Brooks, British Airways’ Senior Vice President Sales, North America, said, “We’re delighted to be offering daily services next summer between Nashville and London. Thank you to the city, airport officials and everyone involved in making this happen. We look forward to welcoming more customers onboard and experiencing our state of the art Dreamliners to London.”
“British Airways launched its highly anticipated nonstop service from BNA to Heathrow Airport just five months ago, and the response and support from the community has been incredible,” said Doug Kreulen, Nashville International Airport president and CEO. “Now we’re adding to that by going from service five days a week to offering daily nonstop flights. This is great for Middle Tennessee, and British Airways’ investment into our community speaks volumes to the growing connection between Nashville and London.”
Customers on British Airways services enjoy benefits such as free baggage allowance, seat allocation and on its longhaul services, complimentary meals and bar service while watching on-demand movies on their personal TV screens. The airline also provides a “Feed Kids First” service which ensures that children are served first, allowing parents to enjoy their own meal.
British Airways is investing £4.5 billion for customers, including the installation of the best quality WiFi and power in every seat, fitting 128 long-haul aircraft with new interiors and taking delivery of 72 new aircraft. The airline is also investing £600m specifically in Club World, including outstanding catering and luxurious White Company bedding – plus, from 2019, a new seat with direct aisle access.
